Data Engineer (Snowflake)
RemoteUnited States$90,000 - $110,000 per year
** This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client and is fully remote (indefinitely). Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.**
Our client is looking to add a Data Engineer to their team to assist with some exciting new data initiatives which will modernize their environment and set them up for future opportunities in the data space (AI, ML, etc). We are looking for a smart, passionate, and curious problem solver with good communication skills who can learn new technologies quickly.
Client is currently under 3 separate, major journeys that are converging; a merger, major EMR conversion, and moving data assets into the cloud from a traditional on-prem architecture. On top of this, they are building out a new data warehouse on Snowflake from the ground up.
We are looking for someone that knows the new tech stack (or can learn rapidly) to help transform things quickly, ideate and fail fast when they want to try something, and support legacy assets knowing they have a limited shelf life. Once the new data warehouse is in place, there will be plenty of growth opportunities within the data space (algorithms, machine learning, AI, etc.)
- Data engineer with 2-5 years of experience.
- Database development and using data for a variety of use cases
- Cloud Data Engineering Experience (Azure preferred, Snowflake ideal)
- ETL/ELT experience (SSIS, Informatica, DBT)
- Data Warehousing experience is preferred
