Agile Business Analyst

**This is a 6-month contract-to-hire role based in the Twin Cities, MN. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. The position follows a hybrid schedule (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays).**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support our client’s mortgage operations team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at gathering and refining requirements, managing new requests, and ensuring clear communication between business and technical teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to gather, document, and validate requirements.

• Manage incoming requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals.

• Log and track tickets, user stories, and progress in DevOps.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Support project delivery by ensuring requirements are clearly defined and understood.

• Provide input to improve processes and ensure efficiency in requirement management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests effectively.

• Skilled in requirement vetting and documentation.

• Experience with DevOps for tracking tickets and user stories.

• Background in the mortgage industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience working in hybrid work environments.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience collaborating with data and/or technical teams.
