ServiceNow Developer & Administrator (Contract)

** This is a 3+ month contract opportunity with our client in the southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN. The position follows a hybrid work model, with on-site attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Fractional resources will be considered. **

Our client recently purchased ServiceNow, and is seeking a sharp, hands-on ServiceNow Consultant to lead the early phases of implementation. This is a high-impact, short-term opportunity with the potential to evolve into a longer engagement based on evolving needs.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead initial ServiceNow setup and configuration

• Define and establish a clear scope of work for short- and long-term goals

• Lead and manage core ITSM implementation and FreshService migration

• Provide strategic guidance on ServiceNow capabilities and roadmap

• Drive early integrations and coordinate with internal teams

• Prepare organization for future ServiceNow-related initiatives

Upcoming Projects:

• ITSM implementation & FreshService decommissioning (initial priority)

• Integrations with RingCentral, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Smartsheet, and Azure DevOps

• Development of scoped applications

• Exploration and enablement of NowAssist and other AI-driven features

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience implementing ServiceNow, especially ITSM

• Comfortable working with ambiguity and defining structure

• Strong communication skills and ability to lead both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities

• Consulting experience preferred, particularly in short-term, high-ownership roles
