Job description
**This is a direct hire for a client located in Seattle, WA. In office work required Monday-Thursday, remote work Fridays. Occasional travel to the East coast required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship**
Our client, a growing E-commerce company, is hiring an Ecommerce Operations Manager to lead the performance and optimization of their order management and warehouse systems (SalesPad), integrated with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Shopify. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role partnering with Sales, Finance, IT, and Warehouse teams to keep orders flowing accurately from click to delivery.
This role is ideal for someone blossoming in their career who wants real ownership and a clear growth path into broader operations or systems leadership — not someone looking to coast on existing expertise. No prior SalesPad experience is required — training is provided. What matters most is an analytical mindset, curiosity about systems and process, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Primary Duties
System Ownership & Optimization
Manage day-to-day configuration and performance of SalesPad (order management + warehouse/WMS)
Spot inefficiencies and drive improvements, partnering with our external dev team to execute updates
Systems Integration
Oversee data integration across SalesPad, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Shopify
Troubleshoot data flow issues and coordinate fixes with Finance, IT, and outside vendors
Order Management
Track orders from entry through fulfillment and invoicing
Monitor workflows, flag gaps, and keep the team on pace with SLAs
Warehouse Operations Support
Help optimize inventory tracking, pick/pack/ship, and receiving workflows within SalesPad WMS
Partner with the warehouse team to resolve discrepancies quickly
Process Improvement & Innovation
Continuously evaluate sales, fulfillment, and ops workflows for efficiency and accuracy gains
Use available tools (including AI) to analyze processes and surface opportunities
Project Management
Support system upgrades, enhancements, and process initiatives
Translate business needs into clear requirements for developers and manage execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the main point of contact for system-related questions across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Warehouse
Train users, provide ongoing support, and keep documentation current
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, warehouse operations, or a systems-focused role
Some exposure to ERP, CRM, or order management/WMS platforms (SalesPad, NetSuite, or similar — training provided on our specific tools)
Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts; you like figuring out why something isn't working
Comfort translating business needs into requirements developers can act on
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with operational data
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to system integrations (ERP, eCommerce platforms, or middleware)
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, Shopify, or similar platforms
Background in distribution, consumer goods, or another operations-driven environment
