Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who thinks at the intersection of product and data—how data is captured, structured, and activated to power business insights, scalable platforms, and AI-driven opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong data engineering background who aspires to evolve into a Data Architect in the future. You’ll join a collaborative, innovative, and growth-minded culture that values adaptability and continuous learning.

You’ll be hands-on with modern cloud data technologies, help shape the data strategy, and work across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams. We value candidates who have worked in startup or mid-size environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in AWS.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure data systems align with product needs and business outcomes.

  • Optimize data architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define data models and structures that enable analytics, AI/ML, and product innovation.

  • Support ETL/ELT processes and ensure high data quality standards.

  • Mentor peers and contribute to the long-term vision of evolving this role into a Data Architect position.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields.

  • Strong expertise with AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.).

  • Experience in a .NET environment with familiarity in C#.

  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language (Python preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud-native data platforms.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in smaller, fast-paced environments where adaptability and versatility are key.

Preferred Skills

  • Interest or hands-on exposure to AI/ML tools, frameworks, or applications.

  • Experience influencing or defining data architecture in growing organizations.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for data systems.
