Senior Software Engineer (C# & .NET)

***This 6+ month contract-to-hire position offers a path to long-term employment and includes a hybrid schedule with onsite collaboration Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the West suburbs of Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing business-critical applications, services, and integrations that support product development, automation, and operational efficiency. Primary Duties

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and internal platforms.

• Build scalable solutions that support business operations, automation, and product development initiatives.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning activities.

• Integrate applications with external systems, APIs, and services.

• Contribute to development best practices, CI/CD improvements, and engineering process enhancements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in development and production environments.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and software development best practices.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Professional software development experience using C# and .NET.

• Strong experience developing applications with modern .NET technologies, including ASP.NET Core.

• Experience designing and supporting scalable software solutions in production environments.

• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.

• Experience integrating applications with APIs and third-party systems.

• Strong understanding of software design principles and code quality best practices.

• Experience with performance optimization and troubleshooting.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
